Sunday Shopping.

Yesterday, I was strolling around my neighbourhood mall when I decided to pick up a couple of things from Watsons. I have been in desperate need of an exfoliator for my dorm. I only have one at home, which is the Queen Helene Cocoa Scrub but lately I haven’t been going home as often so I haven’t been doing my weekly scrub. And boy, can I feel the difference on my face. There was definitely some heavy duty clogging happening.

The original exfoliator I was planning to buy was the Cure Aqua Gel but that’s really pricey and not all Watsons stocks it. Since I really needed something for the face immediately and I have been hearing a lot of good things about St Ives on OnSugar, I decided to pick that up instead.

I wandered around the store a little while more and I noticed that the Dove Go Fresh line (for the smaller sizes) was on sale, marked down from $3++ to $1.95. I have been dyingggg to buy this body washes! I have been sniffing and sniffing them but because of my huge stash, I couldn’t justify buying more body washes. Well now that my stash is dwindling and this is on sale, I immediately grabbed it. There are four scents available but only Nectarine & White Ginger and Waterlily & Fresh Mint were left. I didn’t care for Waterlily so I didn’t get that. I was pretty disappointed that the other two were already sold out 😦 Hopefully I will chance upon them at another outlet.

I have the Cure Aqua Gel and that is a real good buy. Definitely pricey but worth it. I’m using it sparingly so I won’t need to get it for a long time.
St. Ives Apricot Scrub was my first scrub ever maybe 10 years ago (?). They have another version of that for sensitive skin. The original one is too strong for those with acne-prone.

I knoooww! I have been lusting after it ever since I got samples from the company. But it’s only located in certain branches which makes it a pain because I have to go specifically to the bigger malls to find it.

Did you like the St Ives? The scrub granules are really harsh but I am aware of that through the reviews on it. I just take a little bit and scrub gently on my face. I figure if I use it once a week, it should be ok.

Yes I liked the St. Ives before I discovered other scrubs LOL! Eventually it broke me out so I need to use more gentle ones or those made for acne-prone skin.
