Trying Out Sasse Sniffy Stuff.

I mentioned a few posts ago that I recently made a rather impulsive order from Sasse Sniffy Stuff. It was impulsive because the shop was new with barely any reviews to its name and I made my order in like 10 minutes. I think it was the excitement of discovering a new etailer and the possible role you could have in helping to make an etailer a sensation in the etailing world. By the way, does anyone know if I should pronounce Sasse as [sass] or [sassy]?

The package look innocuous enough, the usual yellow package with all the customs stamp in front. What really differentiated it was that my name and address was printed out on a pre-designed background. I felt that was a really nice touch! I remember that a review somewhere mentioned that you could smell the tarts before you even opened up the package and that’s absolutely true. The scents were just bursting out of the envelope and I ripped into it fast, wanting to get a good sniff!

I ordered 10 tarts but Elma (the owner) included two extras in Fruit Slices and Eucamint! I really like that the tarts are packaged individually in ziplock bags, rather than re-sealable plastic bags like CYS. I find the ziplocks more secure in closing than those little glue strips on the bags that CYS use. It makes me feel like the scents are running away if I don’t keep their bags tightly closed!

The tarts from SSS are slightly smaller than average. They are about half of CYS sizes but I am not worried too much about it. I heard the scents take forever to finish burning and besides they are cheaper than the average tart out there. This is my first time encountering soy tarts so I am not sure exactly how they are supposed to feel. But a few them were smashed and broken up into a few pieces when I opened the package. It also feels more powdery and less waxy. If there are soy tarts enthusiasts and users, do enlighten me if that’s what soy tarts are like! 🙂
