Scent Reviews: Cozy Moments

My extremely long awaited scents review of my Cozy Moments order! The only reason I took so long was because I used these scents quite a few times each to hopefully get a better grasp of the different notes and how they become on the dry down, rather than just based on cold sniffs.

(Note: This reviews are based on my body chemistry, which is unique factor, that causes different scents to become differently on different people. So don’t write off a scent just because I did, it might work on you!)

Amazing Grace (Philosophy type)
This scent is absolutely lovely with top notes of all-natural Italian bergamot and lemon essential oils sweetened with fruity touches of peach, plum, and ripe raspberry. This is all a brief prelude to a mind-blowing midsection composed of a classic floral trifecta of jasmine, orange blossom, and rose. A hint of cedarwood and an enormous splash of the most glorious, long-lasting, head-spinning white musk imaginable make for an awesome fragrance!

I find Amazing Grace to be an amazingly complex scent! The only notes I could distinguish were the citrus and bergamot, afterwards it was all just a blur! It’s a very pretty scent but just slightly too heady for me and I am not sure if it’s exactly right for me.

Baby Grace (Philosophy type)
The clean, sweet scent of innocence, this Baby Grace duplication is powdery, feminine and soft with notes of Poppy, Green Accord, Pink Mimosa, Pepper, Creamy White Woods, and Musk. A slice of heaven!

I adore Baby Grace. I think this is the surprise of the bunch for me. I thought I would like Amazing Grace better when I read the descriptions but it was Baby Grace that stole my heart! A very well blended scent with no notes that I can discern separately. It smells like a very soft, sweet floral to me, with a sweet tea-ish base to it. I may be weird but I love tea scents even if I don’t drink them. Definitely very innocent and feminine, this is love. I am already looking to buy more products in this scent!

Pink Sugared Chocolate
(Cozy Moments exclusive blend) Sinfully rich milk chocolate decadently collides with pink sugar. Simply irresistible!

My least favourite scent from my first order. From its name, I expected something really sweet and chocolate-y. What I didn’t know when I placed my order was that I didn’t like Pink Sugar. BIG TIME! The scent is overwhelming and heady. In fact, I got a headache the firs time I sniffed it. The chocolate is a very nice milk chocolate but when it became too much with the Pink Sugar. I am sorry, everytime I sniff this, my nose automatically wrinkles itself up.

Winter Candy Apple (BBW type)
An irresistible blend of juicy apples, rounded out with notes of sweet plums and ripened strawberries; enhance with a slash of lime, orange zests with sharp green notes.

Mmm, love love love this one! The apples are definitely the dominant note here and the only note I can pick up. It is also very citrusy, no doubt from the lime and oranges and I have no idea what green notes should smell like but I guess it suppose to make it fresh and I do find this scent has a different aura to it than the other apple scents that I have. The drydown is really very lovely. A very elegant apple citrus, I guessing it’s the green notes that made the difference!

Vanilla Breeze
This is one YUMMY scent! A rich and creamy vanilla that is truly outstanding! For those of you who love vanilla, this one will blow you away – it is very heavy and warm; very rich and creamy. You won’t just want to sniff this one, you will want to take a bite!

The description says it all! You really “smell” the creaminess of this vanilla. However, it’s not just plain straight vanilla, there’s something else to it that I just can’t figure out. I am getting a toothache just from smelling this, it’s that sweet!

Generally, I find that CM’s scents does not differ significantly from the initial moment you put it on to the dry down of the scent. What you smell is really what you get for the rest of the day and I really like that! Also, CM’s scents are pretty long-lasting, when I use the roll ons, I only need to refresh them once if it’s a long day for me. But for most days, two big circles on my wrists and I can smell them the whole day! Yum!
